I can't confirm this because I loaned my R6 to a relative. Please look in the Shooting 7 (Red) menus for "Shooting info. disp.", select that then select "VF info/toggle settings". You should have three options to add or remove what is displayed in the EVF. Hopefully one is the histogram. I do not use this feature, so I just don't recall if histogram is an option.

For more detail on how to select EVF options, see page 253 in the most current Advanced Users Guide for the R6, firmware version 1.9.0.

You can only cycle through the different viewfinder displays while using the viewfinder. Easiest option is to close the LCD so it is facing in to the camera and not visible to you. This forces the camera to only use the viewfinder. Then press the INFO button on the back of the camera to cycle through the EVF displays configured with the settings described by Newton above.
