I sometimes use a USB charger to charge my EOS R10. I use a more powerful charger, but all the same when the camera is charging the card access light will show green. When charging is complete the light will go off.

https://cam.start.canon/en/C006/manual/html/UG-11_Reference_0030.html

So I think you should be ok with your Samsung charger and the camera.

Greetings,

Samsung doesn't have full specs listed for this device. 45w, 5A. But Volts = Watts / Amps.

In general, a USB-C PD device should be at minimum 45w, 9v, 3A. Note, the battery will not charge when the camera is powered on. It could work if the pin out matches. 😉

Hi Rick,

Thanks for replying!

Sorry, I’m not too tech savy. Here’s a photo of my charger.
I pluggled it to the camera and it’s showing a green light. Is this normal? Should it not be an orange light or something, that would turn green when fully charged?

Thanks again for your help, really appreciated!
