      <description>&lt;P&gt;Greetings,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;It would be helpful if you could provide a budget and list any lenses you currently own now.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;A fast lens will be helpful shooting the Northern Lights.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I'm sure you'll receive different recommendations.&amp;nbsp; I might recommend the following two lenses.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Sigma RF 17-40 f1.8 Art.&amp;nbsp; This is a constant aperture lens licensed by Canon for APS-C.&amp;nbsp; It's around $919.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Sigma 18-50 f2.8 is also very popular.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Sigma has wonderful primes for RF APS-C.&amp;nbsp; I would recommend a zoom (for versatility) unless you have a specific need for a particular focal length.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You'll want to practice a bit before your trip.&amp;nbsp;If you already have the RF-S 18-45 it might not be fast enough for Northern Lights, and could require high ISO and slow shutter speeds.&amp;nbsp; In this scenario, a tripod would be recommended.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
