I recently bought a Canon R6. I got a battery grip for it. I was thinking to get a cage around it to make it more bulky because I am used to my Canon 1D X, but i only shoot pictures wondering if it’ll be any good for pictures? I know i may sound silly for having a bulky camera but i am very comfortable with it, i have big hands aswell the 1D fits perfectly. Any help would be awesome. And please let me know if i used the wrong tag first time posting in this sub. Thank you in advance.

Greetings,

For still images I think the grip would probably be enough. The R6 isn't that deep. If you want a cage, I'd look at small rig and tilta. The SR cage is discontinued but I'm sure you could find one used. I have the black mamba kit. It has a handle, extended base plate, and follow focus rod.

I noticed Amazon has them in stock new so you have options. 😃 They fit the camera like a glove if you want to bulk up.
