You could just take the card out and use a card reader.

Agree with Steve!

I picked up several and cheapest one ended up being the fastest and the easiest to carry. It is amazingly fast and there is nothing to it.

My Mac always loves my R100 and on occasion cannot "see" my R8. Card reader solves the problem nicely.

Or, if you don't want to pop the SD card out of your camera, you can do a USB cable transfer. I use an IFC-600PCU cable I got from Canon. One end plugs into my camera and the other end plugs into a USB port on my computer.

(Your manual will tell you the proper cable to use for the 60D).

The computer recognizes the camera as a device, just like it would any USB device, and then I can copy and paste any of the files.

I looked at the Canon Support page for the 60D and it doesn't look like Canon offers the EOS Utility app for the 60D any more, so a card reader, or a USB cable transfer might be your two best options.

I use a USB-C to USB-C cable from Apple to go between my Mac and my Canons and it works flawlessly 19 times out of 20.

My T81 has a USB Micro-B port, so I have to use one of those kinds of cables, but it hasn't once failed me.

You need a USB cable to fit your computer....camera has USB-Mini B socket. Whatever worked previously with Windows 10 or earlier should work with Windows 11. No software is needed just to move files from camera to computer. Or, use an SD card reader that plugs into the computer's USB port.

The bizarre thing is how fussy iPhones can be with cords, so it could be an Apple idiosyncrasy. Thus I may replace the cord, then again it happens so infrequently that why bother?
