EOS R6 How to get histogram to be visible all the time

This may sound dumb but how do I set my histogram to be visible all the time in my viewfinder I have a R6

Enable exposure simulation and then activate the histogram in the shooting information settings. Specifically,

go to the shooting menu, find "Exposure Simulation," and enable it.
Navigate to "Shooting Info. Display" and select the histogram display settings (brightness or RGB, large or small).
The histogram should then appear in the viewfinder when you look through it.

It appears on the LCD screen but not in the view finder. Next steps????? Thank you.Sandra

Hello skknight,

I assume that you too have the EOS R6. The setting that you are looking to adjust can be found in the [Shooting info. disp.] menu item. This is found in the red camera menu #7. In order to access all menu items, make sure that you set the camera to one of the Creative modes such as, [P], [Av], [Tv], or [M]. To turn on the [Histogram], go into [VF info/toggle settings]. Select the [Customizing Information in the Viewfinder] hyperlink in the manual link that I provided HERE for more explanation on this.
