EOS REBEL T3 can’t upload to MAC. Was loading fine yesterday.

I have been able to offload pictures to the photos app on my MAC just fine the last few days. Went to offload more this evening and can’t. It only loaded 147 pictures of 1,000 something. And the photos that were loaded were grayed out boxes. I can’t click on anything. I can select and import but nothing happens. I have tied opening other apps to import and nothing shows up. I have cleaned off the memory cars, removed the battery, restarted the computer. Nothing is working. I am pretty camera illiterate. I know enough to get by. No settings had been changed in between importing today and yesterday. Desperately need to get mothers day and baseball tournament pics off of the camera!

When trying to finagle with things I will occasionally get “cannot playback image” or “card nonnot be accessed” on the camera screen. Other times I can view thumbnails just fine on the camera.

Can you insert card into a card reader and access images?

That’s my next thing to. I don’t have one so I need to go out and buy it.
