Repair and Clean Canon EOS 5D Mark III

I need to know what place in NW IL are reputable places to bring or send cameras (DSLR) and lenses for cleaning and possible repair. I could send my equipment anywhere in the USA, but I need it back no later than the end of July 2025. I am not getting the clarity I used to get, whether or not I used a tripod. Also we are going to Yellowstone NP. Should I have Polaroid filters or just regular protector filters because of the dust? Any suggestions on how to capture the intense colors of the geysers?

If you like a specific repair company and have used them before, why did you chose them? Would you use them again? What did they do to your camera or lenses?

I have not used this place but they are in Illinois. Per their website, they repair Canon cameras and lenses including the 5D Mark III.

I have a broken Canon older lens and was looking for a place that might be able to repair it. However they could not accept the lens for repair because parts were no longer available for my lens.

Again, I have not used them so please do your research.

I have also used Royal for cleaning and repair on several occasions. For Canon gear that was end of service, this is my go to repair center. They did a real nice job on everything so far. Most of my gear was returned in less than a week.

I have been to Yellowstone NP many times and haven't considered it very dusty. A polarizer filter could be beneficial to cut glare/reflections off the horizontal pool geysers.

Our most recent trip to YNP was September 2024. The crowds were amazing. I suspect July/August will be even worse. Be prepared for waits and possible long walks because parking areas overflow onto the roadways.

At the end of the day though it is all worth it.
