On the Canon EOS R5 Mark II with firmware version 1.0.3, if you go to Customize buttons for shooting, scroll and select the Multi-controllers (why the 's'?), hit the Info button, and notice the first entry on the second line. It is the same Icon and performs the same function as Move AF point by eye control but the text says Confirm eye control. An internet search for the phrase "Confirm eye control" comes up with nothing useful.

Has anyone spent the time to create a good reference for the Functions available for Customization? Many of them I have to just piddle with and finally get a slight glimer of what it might be doing.

Documentation for the [Info] is not covered in User Guides. Test and experiment with the setting. It sounds like a BBF function for Eye AF.

I agree with Brian. We need to see what you do.

My R5 II with 1.0.3 only shows two options for the "Multi controller", default and off.

The first image is when the AF point button is selected (as seen at the very top of the screen). When the icon that has the eye control plus the cross point focus is selected, the text says "Move AF point by eye control". This phrase is in the manual.

When viewing the options for the Multi-controllers, you need to press the INFO Detail Set. At that point, you will see the second image. When the same icon is selected with the eye control and cross focus point, the text says "Confirm eye control".

The purpose of this post was to just get the phrase "Confirm eye control" into the web search database so that if others hit this and are confused, at least now they can search the web and find that it means the same as "Move AF point by eye control".
