Hi all. Not sure how this happened, because I didn't intentionally do it. But.. My 80 is is Servo AF mode, and I want to return to one shot mode. For the life of me, I can't figure out how. The menu I've seen on YouTube isn't what I see on my screen. Chalk it up to a senior moment? Thanks for advice!

Yes, 80D (sorry). In trying the above instructions, I have no "creative zone" on my mode dial. In fact, any mode still has the camera in Servo, and pressing the AF offers "Tracking" "multi Zone" and "Single Zone". None of these options takes me out of servo...

Maybe something else got inadvertently set. You could do a camera reset.

The reset doesn't restore factory settings; it just erases and custom settings. I can't get out of servo mode, and the camera is about to become a parts only donor 🙂

Is the camera set to Full Auto A+ Mode. If so then you CANNOT change the focus mode. You can also change the focus mode from the touch screen by pressing the "Q" Button. Then clicking on the box that says the focus mode if the camera is set to viewfinder shooting.

Are you stating that based on your camera or in general, because resetting the camera will restore factory settings. I have done it many times in many cameras starting with 1D Mark IIn up through 1D X Mark III (since 2005).
