Okay. So, we're a small school district and my IT team and I inherited the district from someone who ran it basically alone for 20+ years as its sole IT director. So, we have a bunch of junk and things half setup or jerry-rigged or bandaided together that we're piece by piece sorting out.

We have a T3 connected to a computer to take staff shots for our ID badge maker. Suddenly, for whatever reason, the PC stopped recognising it as a camera. We connect it via USB, and it does see it (makes the chime and everything) and we can access the SD card from it. But When browsing to the camera app or trying to take a shot from the ID maker software, it just doesn't believe there's a camera attached. The PC is win10 education, and it had been working fine up until they tried to take a pic of a new teacher for a new badge. We've tried it on another tower, another laptop, and our personal work devices and nada. Disconnected, it works fine. Just will not work through the PC

Do you mean you are trying to take pictures while it is connected to the computer, controlling the camera from the computer? This is called Remote Shooting, and EOS Utility does that.
