How to remove the frame when using the Rebel T6 as a webcam

How do I remove the box or indication from the Rebel T6 camera when I'm using it as a webcam? I use it with Elgato GameCapture and I'm having trouble streaming because the camera boxes and indications appear all over the screen, and there's no way to remove them.

Hello Bolovan,

Some platforms place that AF box on the display. There is no workaround on the camera other than using manual focus unfortunately.

Encontré la manera de hacerlo. Cuando me conecté a Video Capture, presioné el botón de inicio de video y el cuadro desapareció de la pantalla. Todo lo que quedaba era un punto rojo de grabación en la esquina superior derecha. Es una solución total, pero es mucho mejor.

To my knowledge, the T6 does not support clean HDMI out. You'll get some overlays because of this.
