EOS 50D LCD screen not working

Hi my 50d screen is not working, it turns on , shutte is working and lcd on top working, but menu and other functions are not working on the screen, I've tried resetting by removing the batteries etc. still not working,is there any button combination to reset it maybe it will work. thanks

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with your camera. If the screen screen remains dark in every camera mode of operation, then it is likely that it’s failed in some way. The camera modes would include Menu browsing, Image playback, and Live View shooting.

it’s n older model, which is old enough to no longer be supported by Canon for repair. The most inconvenient part with this issue is not being able to view menus.

I suggest considering a replacement, either a used DSLR or a new R series MILC body.
