R10 viewfinder magnification?

I have a T8i, and I know that in Live View, I can magnify a scene or a frame to aid in more precise manual focus.

I ran across a couple of articles where the author(s) talked about doing this in the viewfinder of their camera(s). I've looked around a little, and didn't see where this was a feature in the R10.

Does anyone in here know?

I have the EOS R10, and yes you can zoom in to aid manual focus.

Press the AF point button on the back of the camera - it's the one just below the AE-Lock / asterisk button - as if you were changing the AF area, then press the INFO button to zoom in, press INFO again to zoom in further.

Additional ways to zoom in, if you see the magnifying glass icon on the lower right of the LCD, press that and you can zoom in.

You might want to enable MF focus peaking and or the Focus guide on the 5th purple AF menu. These aids also help when focussing manually. I leave them enabled all the time, so whenever I use manual focus they appear, but disappear when using autofocus.

This feature is especially helpful when you're very consciously doing "photograph making" as opposed to faster-moving documentation. It's also a benefit to older eyes when doing manual focus. As someone of an older age number, this option is one I will explore more.
