topic Part fell off of EOS R5 or Control Ring Mount Adapter EF-EOS R in EOS DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

I have recently purchased a Canon R5 and a Control Ring Mount Adapter EF-EOS R. This morning, I found an o-ring on the floor in the area where I store the camera and I cannot see where, or even if, it is off of the camera or adapter. It is about one inch in diameter and the rubber ring on the camera side of the adapter appears to be intact. I just would like to be certain that it did not fall off of the camera or adapter and compromise the weatherproofing, etc. of the camera.

Any thoughts, advice would be e appreciated. Thank you.

Do you have a picture of the O Ring. Its not the body that has the weather sealing around the mount its the lens that does and the mount adapter has it too.

Thanks for your reply. The weather sealing around the lens mount and the adapter appears to be intact. See the attached photo of the o-ring.
