saving C1 not available in raw burst mode on EOS R7

when I enable "raw burst mode" in P-mode, "custom shooting mode C1-C3" is greyed out and I cannot store the settings. is it a feature, a bug or just my misunderstanding how it shall work?

Raw burst mode is disabled when the camera is powered off, so it can't be added to the custom settings. I'm not sure why Canon set it up that way 🤔
