&lt;P&gt;That is odd that it only happens when using a smartphone with the Camera Connect app. Is there a specific task being performed when this occurs? Taking a picture, for example or something else specifically.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>M50 Mk2 Live View Shooting Intermitten Connection</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I own a Canon 70D, and SX70Hs, GX5, and lately M50 Mark II&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Only have this problem with M50 Mk2, firmware 1.0.4&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I connect M50Mk2 with my iPhone 14 with Camera Connect, through bluetooth, then it switches to a faster Wifi network, it connects every time without a fuzz.&amp;nbsp; But with Live View shooting, the screen will freeze half a second every other 3 or 4 seconds, repeatedly.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I can press the shutter when it is responding, but will miss my command during non-updating periods.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tried resetting connection settings on the camera, also tried resetting everything in the camera, and delete CameraConnect on my phone, reinstall and start over, the result is the same.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Also tried direct Wifi connection to Camera, and connect through router, same.&lt;BR /&gt;Want to try reinstalling the firmware but cannot find 1.0.4 to download, and won't let me downgrade to 1.0.3&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have 70D,SX70HS,GX5 doing same remote shooting with my same phone, same network, all go perfectly smooth. (which I have been using for years) (tho the 70D and GX5 connects take much longer without Bluetooth)&lt;BR /&gt;Lastly, I installed EOS Utility on my PC, connect it through Wifi to my M50Mk2, the screen on my PC does not have the freeze for half a second issue.&amp;nbsp; So I tried using my older iPhone 8 with this late comer M50Mk2, the same freeze screen happen again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am stucked with this issue for quite some time.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Run out of idea what else can I do.&amp;nbsp; Any help will be much appreciated.&amp;nbsp; #M50 #M50 Mark II#m50mk2 #Wifi #remoteshooting&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The live view freezes happen right after remote live view shooting is selected.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; What I can say is that the camera is doing nothing specific except streaming the image to my phone.&amp;nbsp; If I press to record a video, the recorded video on the camera is fine without the freezes.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Strange as it can be.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Is the firmware on the camera up to date? I would take a look at that. You can update the firmware &lt;A href="https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/eos-m50-mark-ii#idReference%3Dsoftware-drivers" target="_self"&gt;HERE&lt;/A&gt; if need be.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
