EOS Rebel T6 won't power on

Little used Canon T6 Rebel/1300d camera, never wet/dropped. Will not power up at all. But will power on when battery/SD Card/lens are removed then put back in after at least 24 hours. Has had a new Canon SD card/Battery/lens, but problem is the same. Anyone know what the issue is with this model of Canon, is it software or a hardware problem that can be fixed (Update/upgrade)
