topic Data Recovery from Reformatted SD Card on Canon M50 Mark i in EOS DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

Hello All,

I have a Canon M50 and I accidentally formatted the SD card (64gb SanDisk Extreme Pro 170 mb/s) while in it.

I am not sure if I did a low level format or not. The process didn't take longer than 30 seconds, probably only 5 seconds. I immediately removed it and didn't use it. I tried UFS Standard Recovery and recovered 22.6gb/676 files but unfortunately, they were not the ones I was interested in. I also sent it to recovermyflashdrive.com (he was recommended). He tried "reading the memory chip directly" but couldn't find any additional data. He said this SD card uses LDPC error correction and isn't supported by any data recovery tools at the moment. Is there any chance I can recover my pictures and videos? Any recommendations on who to send it to, what to do?
