topic EOS R6 Mark II Saving images to SD card while also direct uploading while live shooting in EOS DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

I am setting ups my R6 Mark II to do direct remote upload to a computer via wifi while live shooting. Is there a way to simultaneously have the images upload and also save to the camera card.

Yes this is possible. The question is what exactly you want to do.

Using EOS Utility remote shooting feature you can shoot and have the images saved to card and transferred to the computer in a folder. This even allows you to shoot RAW + JPG on the camera card and only have the JPG transferred for speed if needed.

You can also use the FTP capability to transfer images as you capture them to an FTP server that is accessible on the wifi you are connected to. Again you can choose to only send JPG when shooting RAW + JPG if needed.

You can also shoot with the images uploaded to the image.canon system

First option is good if you are in the similar locality as the computer and both on the same network. Second option can be used to send from the camera over the internet to some FTP server that is on the internet.
