Hello, My name is Alex, and my older brother hired me to photograph his marriage proposal. I literally just bought my camera, a M50 last Wednesday and it came with a 15-45mm ef-m lens. I'm looking to purchase a ef-m 55-200mm for this. I choose this lens because of the native m mount and the price. He is planning on doing it either on February 14th or the 15th, and the sun set time is 6:00. He is planning on doing it at 5:45 so they can go to dinner. His plan is to have me kind of hiding of maybe under a pine tree or something, just something that's out of the way and not noticeable. I am planning on using a tripod but I'm worried about the light capabilities of the ef-m 55-200 as it is a f/4.5. I was wondering if anyone has setting recommendations for this as I'm hoping to use a fast shutter speed, even continuous shooting, in order to capture the moment. If anyone has any setting suggestions or any tips in general please let me know. Thanks!!

I suggest you practice before hand.

Try using various ISO's and use the highest ISO that gets you the best quality.

But first, relax. Make sure your brother understands that this is a big responsibility for a budding photographer and you will do the best you can, but no promises.

I have an M200 with the same sensor. Set the ISO at 1600 and you will get good images.
