Canon eos R only 10 video rec. options

soo i was watching youtube videos for my canon eos r and when i saw people talk about options for video rec they have 14 options and i just grab my camera and i saw that i have only 10 and as long as i have this camera it is 10. What i need to do to get all of them

What lens are you using EF-S and RF-S lenses have restrictions in video mode.

I just found out what is happening it is about
video system
-for PAL
-for NTSC
mine was set to PAL and what that does is it only allowes 25,50,100p cus of some sorth of situations of light with this p there is no flickering on video, when it is on NTSC it has all of options and sometimes it can lead to flickering in some cases of light

so if you want to know more this is where i find out how to enable

24,30,60 and 120fps - canon R7, R6 , 90D

First off PAL, NTSC & SECAM are different video systems used in the world. NTSC is mainly used in North America, The Caribbean and Japan. PAL is mainly used in The UK, The EU & Oceania ie Australia and New Zealand. SECAM was mainly used in France and Africa. But most SECAM regions have switched over to PAL. The difference between PAL & SECAM is that they use a different color encoding method. But everything else is the same between them. PAL as you’ve seen is 25 fps and NTSC is 29.97 fps (originally 30 fps). The reason the fps is different is because of electrical standards used in each region. The fps matches the frequency of the electricity in the region. 60 Hz in North America and 50 Hz in Europe. As time went on to solve this problem in PAL regions they adopted what’s called PAL 60. It’s basically the PAL video standard at 60 fps with NTSC color encoding replaced with PAL color encoding. In NTSC regions most modern displays now support PAL video standards and resolutions. So the problem with different video systems isn’t a problem anymore. So set your camera to the correct video standard in which you are in.
