For the LIFE of me - i cannot figure out how to set, and KEEP center. It's how i like to shoot. I'm new to owning the Canon E6. I've watching a million youtube videos on how to set it, but once i turn it off and back on again, it resets to changing the focus square. I want to set it to be cetner focus, and then never have to re-set it again!
HELP!
Thank you!!
using Kit lens - canon 24-105, F4, L, IS; af/mf (af on), IS on; Also use: 70-200 Ef 2.8 L

Hello, Christine!

Press the Menu button and go to the AF 1 menu as shown on page 484 of the EOS R6 mark II advanced users guide. Select the area you want and press the "Set" button. This should make your point(s) stay centered. If not, make sure you aren't using one of the custom settings (C1, C2, or C3). Also, if your point doesn't stay centered, make sure you have touch shutter/focus disabled as this will move your focus point. There are a few other settings that may cause your focus point to move and stay off center, but these are the few that pop in my mind first.

I hope I understand what you are describing 🤔
