Can’t Register EOS R7 purchased on QVC

I just purchased the R7 on QVC which is on the authorized seller list However, I cannot register it on the Cannon site. It says the serial number is wrong?

Hello Ccoco555, welcome to the site.

QVC is an authorized seller based on the Canon Authorized Dealers web page so this should be an easy fix. Several of us have had a challenge registering an item at some point, mine was a kit bought as a gift. It was resolved easily by calling 800-385-2155 or 800-652-2666. The support group is very helpful and can assist you with your challenge.
