I don't work for Canon, but it is my understanding that Canon will not work on cameras that have passed their service support life. I was told reason being if they damage the camera while working on it they cannot repair it for possible lack of parts.

EOS 60D Canon Precision Alignment needed

Will Canon not Schedule a Canon Precision Alignment even if my product is no longer supported?

I have a 60D with really very little hours or use, but pictures are not as sharp as they use to be. Maybe its because I much older and my eyes are not as sharp as they use to be.😊 Hmmm!

Anyway I would like to have Canon service it. Who do I contact?

Greetings,

When a product reaches EOL it is no longer serviceable by Canon. The precision alignment service is only available for eligible body's and lenses. Unfortunately, the 60D is no longer under support.
