EOS R5 Mark II is turned off but certain buttons turn it back on

IS there anybody has similar issue? I have R5 II power issue. When the power switch at off positive, the camera can be turn on with certain buttons even the power button is at off positive. It has been repaired once without fixation.

I would suggest to also update the firmware on the camera to ensure it is running on the latest version. I did all those without success. So, the camera went back Canon Repair. But, I found the problem was still there. I have had many Canon Camera in th epast. Now I have doubt the quality of Canon.

While the behavior you are experiencing could be a valid concern, I wouldn't let it cloud or influence your confidence in the brand. It doesn't sound like your experience with support went smoothly. All repairs come with a warranty. I suggest you give Canon the opportunity to make it right. I know being without your camera is a bummer, but the sooner you get your issue addressed, the sooner you can put this behind you.
