Unable to import a video through the app to my phone, images were transferring well. Barely anything on my big memory card and plenty of space on my phone.. help 😞 ?

You can also try a different media transfer method as l do with my iPhone 12 Pro or iPad Pro if needed. Get one of those USB thumb drives that have a iPhone connector end. Load the media using your laptop, insert the thumb drive into your iPhone and copy the media.

From what I understand, the Canon T7 records videos in the ,mov file format. I read the other day that the Canon Camera Connect app does not recognize the .mov format. I believe that what you have to do is transfer those files to a computer and then convert them to .mp4 format.

I don't know what format the iPhone 13 Pro uses, but it may be that it only plays mp4 movies as well.

There are plenty of free video converters out there.

You are correct.

A video converter is needed. If you're using a Windows computer, the latest version of Microsoft Photo no longer will convert *.mov to *.mp4 (previous versions did the coversion). Microsoft Clipchamp has to be downloaded to do the coversion but I'll bet that other applications will do a good job as well.
