    <description>&lt;P&gt;The undistorted image means that the jpeg preview is OK. Try a new full size card. If that does not solve it, it needs repair.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Can you view them in the camera?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Corrupt .CR2 Files from Canon 5D Mark IV</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The images above are from my current import of .CR2 files into LR. This has been happening EVERY TIME lately. I've formatted the card in the camera and re-formatted plus changed cards and it is happening every time.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If I open with Lightroom or Microsoft Photos, the file opens "normally" for 1-2 seconds with no distortion and then it resolves to a distorted image. See the image belo.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I used to shoot with an EOS 5D Mark IV, but sold it some years ago when I got the EOS R6. However I have seen similar corruption type effects in the past. One thing I did find was that the images still opened correctly in Canon DPP software, and in that case I would often make a full 16-bit TIFF image in DPP and then add that back to Lightroom.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
