EOS 90D - Help with weird camera wobble

Hi, thanks for your time. I have about zero technical knowledge so kindly excuse me if I use improper terminology. I use a Canon Eos 90D and a Sigma 150-600MM lens. When recording video the camera will wobble. Not shake, it wobbles back and forth even when I have it sitting on a beanbag and it is otherwise completely stationary. The firmware is updated. Image quality is as expected, focus works as normal but it wobbles on its own. Any ideas on a cause / fix? Thanks so much.

Have you tested it with the OS (Optical Stabilizer) function turned off? I would test that first, both on/off to see if there is any difference. Process of elimination.

You hit it on the nail Marc. Older Sigma lenses play “IS tug of war” with the AF system. On the EOS R series it plays with IBIS if the camera has it.
