having the errors ingesting r5ii footage off the type B card, when connecting thru a usb c cable, and thunderbolt, cable, errors when uploading footage thru Image Capture on my macbook.

What errors? Usually the best solution is to punt and get a card reader.

It is much faster and more reliable to use a card reader, and copy the files from the card to the computer. It is also faster too. A good quality fast CFexpress reader does not cost much and is well worth the expense.

attaching my screenshot, the camera doesnt register with eos or xf utility, and I get an error using image capture.

I don't see how a new camera in 2024 can't transfer footage via usb c. A card reader is fine, but via cable is more practical for my workflow between offices.
