EOS R10 - Can Not See Graphic Screen Through Viewfinder

All,

I have a R10. I know that the Info button is used to change the image screen/graphic screens. When I select the graphic screen it will appear on the LCD, but will not appear on the view finder. What appears on the viewfinder is one of the image screens. If I use one of the image screens it appears on both the view finder and LCD. How can I get the graphic screen on both the LCD and the view finder? I would like to have the graphic screen on both the LCD and viewfinder.

What is a “graphics screen”? What type of information are you looking for or expecting to see?

Like most of the EOS R-series you have different options for displays on the LCD and EVF, you can also choose what displays are possible to be shown.

If by the "graphic" display you mean the one with the mode and the current settings on. This is only possible on the rear LCD screen. If you looked through the viewfinder and that was showing you couldn't see what the camera had in the frame.

Below are screenshots from my EOS R10.

There are separate options for the LCD "Screen info. settings". This below is the LCD options.

There are up to five displays available, on my camera I switch off the displays I don't use to make it faster to cycle round the ones I do use. You do that by removing the check mark. The first three screens are editable, press the INFO button to edit what is on each of these.

Is this last one is the "graphic" display you refer to?

Now for the EVF there are different settings, and only three possible displays. Here screens 2 and 3 are editable.

Thank you for answering my question. The seventh slide is the screen that I was looking for. Like you said it would block out the viewfinder. I have spent all day looking for an answer.

Thank you again for this information. After I read your answer I set my viewfinder to Screen Info Settings to 5 and my VF Info toggle settings to 3. Can I ask you a few questions? How do you do a screen shot on a R10? What does EXP SIM mean? Do you do classes on the R10? Thank you for your time and the wonderful answer.

Some answers to your "few equations"

I make the screenshots of the menus using a device that captures the HDMI signal from the camera and lets me grab a still frame from it. So I connect the camera to the capture device, and that then connects to the computer. Currently use a Blackmagic Design UltraStudio Recorder 3G. Other devices that do the same exist.
EXP SIM is the setting where the camera LCD will simulate the exposure based on your current settings for shutter speed, aperture and ISO. If you use Av mode and add some negative exposure compensation the display get's darker, and if you add positive the display gets brighter. In manual exposure with you setting aperture, iso and shutter speed manually you'll get a preview of how your settings are working for the ambient light. I have run group classes for the R-series cameras including EOS R10. Though most of the time I do these on an individual basis either in-person or online.
