Welcome to the Canon Community.

Are the error messages appearing without any accessories like lenses, battery grips, or external flash devices. The 60D is no longer being serviced by Canon USA. Repairs are probably not a viable option due to the cost, anyway.

I am a fool! It is the maximum burst number - not an error at all. I never use burst so never took any notice of it - not used the camera in a while! Oh dear!!!
