EOS 60D shows black shadows on all 4 sides of the picture

few days back my camera was working fine, but now when i try to take pictures with my camera it shows black shadows on 4 sides of picture, even on live mode. i tried with changing lens but still same problem i'm facing. i reset all camera setting but still facing with the issue.

Also, please check your aspect ratio setting. It should be 3:2.

Hmm, if you reset, that should have put you back to correct aspect ratio. 🤔

Are you talking about the information display?

Try pressing info or display to toggle through the options.

i have reset all setting, changed the lens, clean the lens, still facing the same problem.

That is from a lens or filter. What lens are you using?

Did you turn off peripheral illumination correction?

Agree, I see more closely now. Its not letterboxing or aspect. Its vignetting of some sort.

But I don't know that this is the issue. I would take the lens off and look inside for any debris. You can use the cleaning function to look at the sensor itself.

interesting thing is that when i saw those picture in my phone after transferring from camera, there is no shadow🤔

Are you using filters or non-Canon lens hoods on the lenses?

If you lock the mirror up and look inside the camera does anything look damaged or out of position?

i am using canon lens without any hood, and i also check inside after removing the lens that maybe the problem is with mirror but all looks ok..

I owned the 60D for 12 years. I saw similar to what you are seeing one time, and it was due to the lens filters. Do you have filters on the lens?

Also, are you just seeing this on the camera screen? Or in the photos as well once you download them?

You mentioned that you are using 50mm f/1.8 and 55-250mm lenses Can you be more precise as to which lenses as there are several variants of those models and some where introduced after your camera was launched in 2010.

For example:

EF 50mm f/1.8 STM - 2015
EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM - 2013
EF-S55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II - 2011

It is possible / probable that for these models of lens they are not included in the camera's list of lenses for which it has correction data. It is possible to add the correction data to the camera for these lenses using EOS Utility.

However since your other screen shots show the image zoomed in on the LCD, I wonder if this is aging on the LCD and it has dark corners. Since you mentioned the corners down't look dark in the viewfinder or in the captured images. If so then this is an LCD problem not a lens problem.

its only on camera screen, but when i transfer these pictures on my tablet pictures are all ok, no marks
