Lower the shutter speed and that will low the ISO and that will give you less noise. Also, a little bit under exposed. Other than that, the picture looks sharp to me.

On the original when zoomed in, it does becaome somewhat mushy, but there is little noise. Seeing the EXIF, at least the shutter speed, aperture, ISO, etc. may help with a diagnosis. It may be slight camera movement.

The processed photo seems to be oversharped. Almost plastic. The raw file seems to be normal, but something like 3 EV under exposed. Instead of 1/8000 sec you could have used 1/2000 sec or 1/1000 sec.

Agreed, the raw file seems to be pretty decent.

The distance from the subject is fairly steep and it is a significant crop on the processed image. Given the distance from the subject there may also be environmental issues. Was it hot or windy when you took the picture?

With an exposure like that, 1/8000 sec, f7.1 and ISO 3200 under exposed 3 EV, it would be like 1/8000 sec, f/7.1 and ISO 25600.
