    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi and welcome to the forum:&lt;BR /&gt;While Steve is absolutely correct, and has answered your specific question, I would caution that if you are considering purchasing such a lens, instead consider an alternative, such as the EF-S 55-250, which is often paired with the standard EF-S 18-55.&amp;nbsp; It has better optics and, significantly, Image Stabilization, to make hand-held shooting with a longer focal length more likely to be sharp by avoiding camera shake.&lt;/P&gt;
