topic EOS 350D error 99 in EOS DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

The camera works fine indoors, autofocus, trigger, mirror, flash, write to memory - the lot. But once I start pointing it to near a window or use it outdoors during daylight hours, I get Error 99. I have only one lens with me so cannot try a change but that seems a moot point under the circumstances - unless the aperture control is somehow the issue. Any suggestions/explanations ?

I think you should somehow try the camera with another lens. This is one way to determine if the lens is part of the problem or not. EOS 350D (Rebel XT) introduced in 2005 is no longer possible for Canon to service.
