Currently, I'm using the Canon 5DSR, set to full manual to capture panoramic shots, a specialty of mine for 15 years. I value a high pixel count and manual focus above all, with a strong preference for a camera that has a long battery life. While I appreciate the lower incidence of dead pixels in Canon's CMOS compared to Nikon, the muted shutter sound is something I'm less fond of. The tactile feedback of a shutter click is crucial for me, especially when capturing panoramas, as I often operate the camera without looking through the viewfinder. Silent shutters don't offer the auditory confirmation I need to be sure of my shots. I'm on the lookout for a camera that can meet these specific needs, enhancing my passion for capturing expansive and detailed panoramic images.
