Trying to contact Canon USA is difficult.

I just purchased the R5 Mark II and was looking for a screen protector. Seeing some inconsistent information on Amazon, I went to the Canon USA website and looked at the specs. The LCD information lists the screen size as:

3.0-inch (screen aspect ratio of 3:2)
2.95 in./7.5cm diagonal (2.44 in./6.2cm width, 1.65 in./4.2cm height)

which is the same as for the R6 Mark II. There seems to be a bit of confusion on the photography forum I use, so I pulled out my calipers and measured both. The correct measurement is:

3.2-inch (screen aspect ratio of 3:2)
3.15 in./8.01cm diagonal (2.63 in./6.67cm width, 1.75 in./4.44cm height)

which is the same as the original R5.

Can anyone here contact Canon? Admin?

Looks like a copy and paste error. Canon sales company in Japan and Canon UK websites list the EOS R5 Mark II screen as a 3.2 inch screen with aspect ratio of 3:2. Canon UK website lists the EOS R5 original version as as 3.15 inch with 3:2 ratio, yet the Canon Camera Museum page for the EOS R5 shows 3.2 inch and 3:2 ratio.

I suggest you use the feedback function on the webpage and send you noted error to Canon USA.

Hi Imawino,

Thank you for alerting us to this. I sent an alert to our website team about the measurement listed in the technical specifications on the product page. I checked the manual and it lists that the screen is a 3.2 inch screen. If you want to view the measurements in the manual they are on page 1211 of the manual in the Screen section.

If you need a copy of the current manual it is available HERE. Once you are on the web page click on the Manuals button and the one to reference is named EOS R5 Mark II Advanced User Guide.
