Welcome.

1. what mode settings are you using on your camera (P, M, Tv, A+)?

2. Can you post a link to a problem image that you downloaded from camera? Actual image file, not a screenshot.

Are you taking pictures indoors. What is the top mode dial set to A+. It sounds like you're taking a picture in low light. Which results in the camera using a long shutter speed. Also Long Exposure Noise Reduction also could be on too. What lens are you using please provide the full name of the lens. Some lenses have multiple revisions over the years. Look on the outer ring of the lens with the lens cap removed to identify the lens model.

F/3.5-5.6 is the aperture. Can you post a picture in the forum with metadata available. So other forum members can see what's going on.

Before you do anything just reset the camera to default settings and try it. Check your manual if you don't know how to reset it. Almost all the time a camera/lens does exactly what you tell it to do so resetting gets us back to square one.

Now set P mode, ISO 200, daylight WB and make sure the lens is set to AF and not MF. Use One shot and not Ai-servo but the reset should have done that for you. Now go outside on a nice sunny day and shoot several different subjects and see if all is well. If it is not you have a problem and likely need service or repair or replace. Simple.

OH, BTW, make sure you have a fully charged and known good battery. Also format the SD before hand too. These two last things are extremely important. Do them.
