topic Rebel t3 vs r50 for semi beginner in EOS DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

Hey, I have a Canon Rebel T3 from a very long time ago with 3 kit lenses that work fine and everything, but I am going into college soon and want to take up photography as a more serious hobby. I am currently looking at the R50 + the 18-45mm kit lens and it seems like a great option. Would this be a sizable difference that I would actually notice? I have looked at spec sheets and it seems massive on paper, but I know it’s more the lens that makes the biggest difference. Also, would it be worth picking up even a very budget zoom lens if I’m doing more landscape stuff? Thanks for any help https://19216801.onl/ !

The short answer is, Yes. Things have come a long way since then.
