“ I don’t shoot video much but one quirk I’ve noticed is that every time i switch to video mode the AF mode always defaults back to single point AF, no matter how many times I change it to tracking af. “

I cannot determine the camera mode, stills or video, when you change the AF point mode.

Be aware that the camera uses separate exposure and AF point settings for stills and video.

If you to the support page and select the latest firmware update (1.9.0) it documents all the changes in that and previous FW updates. Nothing about your issue.

What video mode/setting are you in?

Hi John,

I’m shooting in full manual mode. I flip the switch from stills to the video when I want to record something. Shooting in 4K 24p.
