topic Canon T2i for beginning filmmaking in EOS DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

I want to make a couple indie films, nothing crazy just a hobby, but I have a ridiculously low budget, and I saw on YouTube that a very common recommendation is the T2i coupled with a 50mm lens creates a decent cinematic look. Is this a good investment or should I just wait and spend a little more money?

Since we don't know how much money you have or your timescale it is hard to say. If the t2i can create the files you need, go for it. If you want to get more bells and whistles, and possibly move on to 4 or 8K, wait.
