topic R6 Mark II Live View Zooming In on its Own and Causing Functionality of Camera to Freeze. in EOS DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

I have an R6 Mark II. It’s brand new. I’ve used it 5 times now, the first 4 times without any problems. Tonight, while on a shoot, I had the camera in live view mode. Suddenly the live view zoomed in, extreme close-up, and the rest of the controls stopped working. I couldn’t even press the shutter button down. I had to turn the camera off and back on— thankfully everything was working again, but this happened several more times during the session! I finally had to turn live view off all together. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, were you able to fix it; how??
