topic Feature Request for Sports Photography in EOS DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

I'm not sure how to get this idea to the product designers at Canon, but I would LOVE if Canon had built-in AI that could recognize different balls in sports. Field hockey and lacrosse may be too difficult, but having AI that could identify a soccer ball and then focus on the closest person to the soccer ball would be incredible.

OR - just get a close-up of the ball (volleyball, basketball, soccer ball, water polo ball, etc.) and just tell it to focus on that. Basically the same thing but the camera wouldn't have to memorize what a ball looked like - you could feed this to the camera before the match.
