Luckily through the viewfinder it’s normal. So that’s what I’ve been using to get the shots I need.

EOS R8 screen goes black upon recording video or taking photo

So recently I started noticing my screen start to glitch, I didn’t think too much of it. Until I realized when I turn it on it looks fine and the screen looks fine. But the moment I start to record the screen glitches and goes straight black. The camera still takes pictures and still records perfectly. But in order to see what I recorded or what I took a picture of, I have to turn the camera off. Wait around 1-2 min and turn on the camera again but even then I have like a time limit before it goes straight black again. I don’t know if the camera is having issues now or it’s a normal thing

That is not right. The display should not "glitch" during video recording. Does it happen through the viewfinder?
