Metadata won't save to SD card when transferring to Adobe Bridge Anymore

I am unable to edit photos because the XMP files are transferring over with the CR2's when I import them from the SD card.

I did not have this problem the last time I picked up the camera and I have tried reformatting the SD card without any success. Is there any boy that can help with this problem?
