Memory card in, out, adapter in, out, have nothing to do with your problem. Believe the five different shops.

Time to replace the camera.

Hi, essentially my camera will power on/take photos only if: i remove the card and fully reboot the camera (battery out, power on hold shutter), but if i put my card in (im using a micro sd to full size adaptor, camera came with that) i get no display no photos no nothing, but the display that shows like iso in the viewfinder is still on and still responds to the shutter wheel, issue still persists even if im only using the adaptor without a card in it, and if i remove the card i have to fully reboot for it to post again

took the camera to 5 different shops all saying the mobo/main pcb needed to be replaced for the price of the camera

I don't understand if 5 repair shops said essentially the same thing what do you expect we can do or tell you different or help? First place right off ditch the micro SD for a full size SD. That is really your only hope. Never, never, never and never use a micro SD. A known good battery. You don't need a lens to test whether it will power up properly, in fact probably better to not have one. If it doesn't the 5 shops were correct.
