Dear canon friends. Something weird is happening with my r7 canon. It seems that is rejecting some lens. It reads manual focus even on automatic mode and I cannot change. My camera accepts rf 70-200, rf100-400, rf 35, rf 600, rf14-35, and ef lens with adapters. All of them work so well. But I cannot use rf24-240 (f4-6.3) and rf 24-105. (F4-7.1). I just bought the rf24-240 yesterday and it’s not working. I have a r8 and all the lens work on it. Why my camera is rejecting only these 2 lens and accepts many other ones? Thanks. Tarcito

Check the AF/MF switch on the camera body. Some RF lenses don't have a switch to set AF or MF. The switch on the front of the camera body controls it. It's set to MF in your case. Set it to AF and see what happens. The switch is to the right of the hand grip when looking at the front of the camera.
