Canon M6 Mark II Doesn't Fully Shut Off, Wakes Up Slow

About a week ago, I was at an event and I started to notice a few things.

When I turn off the power switch, photos would still be in the process of being saved. Never more than one or two
Even though I turned the switch off, the lens was still opening and closing and hunting for focus
When I turned the switch back on, sometimes it takes a while to wake up
If I leave the battery in, this hunting behavior continues until it eventually runs out of power.

I took the battery out and didnt bother it for a few days and seemingly the issue had resolved itself when I reinserted the battery but I soon noticed it was doing the same thing the next day.

Any input would be appreciated.
