topic Trouble connecting EOS 350D to Mac in EOS DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

Hello everyone

I wanted to import my photos from my EOS 350D to my mac. I tried to download the EOS Utility 3, but an error message appears upon connecting the camera through USB, saying that the camera is not recognized or that the communication via USB cannot be established. On Photos and Image Capture the volume appears, but seems to be empty, although I know it to contain photos. How do I import them?

Udate: while trying to connect it again, I realized that all photos have been deleted. I am quite sure that they were there before, so are the photos deleted automatically when tried to import? How do I recover them?

Rather than using a cable try using a card reader.
